Shipping policy

The shipping method for your purchase is determined by the type of item ordered. Smaller items are shipped either with GLS or UPS. For larger orders, you’ll be contacted by Design By Us to schedule the delivery.

Furniture and larger parcels will be delivered directly to your address. Please note that delivery is curbside only and does not include in-home delivery or installation. For purchase of Furniture, please contact Design by Us directly.

Domestic Orders

We ship all orders within Denmark free of charge to parcel shops. Kindly note that GLS home delivery starts at a cost of 49 DKK.

Delivery typically takes 1–5 business days.

Please note that an additional shipping surcharge may apply for deliveries to Bornholm.

International Orders

Orders from EU countries totaling over 1,199 DKK (approx. €160) qualify for free shipping on full-price items. However, some products are excluded from this offer.

Please note that free shipping does not apply to orders shipped to islands and special territories (including the Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla, Madeira, the Azores, and similar destinations). Standard shipping rates apply for these areas regardless of order value.

For orders outside the EU, shipping costs start at €29 and may vary depending on the destination.

Delivery within Europe usually takes 3–7 business days, while overseas deliveries may take 4–12 business days.

It is not possible to ship bulbs to Turkey due to legal restrictions. If an order containing only bulbs is placed for Turkey, it will be cancelled.

 

Shipping & Tracking

All shipments are sent via GLS or UPS from our warehouse in Denmark at Rentemestervej 43, København NV.

Once your order has been confirmed, you will receive a tracking number to follow your shipment in real time.

Please note that delivery within a specific time frame cannot always be guaranteed due to unforeseen circumstances. We strive to provide accurate shipping information to ensure transparency.

 

Responsibility & Returns

Once your order leaves our warehouse, Design By Us cannot be held responsible for delays or unforeseen events during transit. If a customer does not collect their order from the selected GLS shop within the specified time, or if GLS/UPS cannot deliver to the provided address, the order will be returned at the customer’s expense.

Delivery Times & Payment

Delivery times are approximate and may vary depending on the destination and unforeseen circumstances.

We reserve the right to delay any order until payment has been validated.

Taxes & Duties

Orders from EU countries include Danish VAT (25%). For orders outside the EU, import duties and local taxes may apply and are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend contacting your local customs office for details.

For large orders, Design By Us will contact you to arrange delivery.
